I figured today I would introduce you to my husband in all his glory. He is a Captain on his Fire Department and a darn good one if i might add. I wanted to share a few photos of him doing what he does best. I think they have a few sayings like We go in when everyone else is trying to get out (or something like that) and my favorite is ready to put the wet stuff on the red stuff. LOL. These firefighters are our extended family and mean the world to us and I am proud of each and every one of them but today i will show you my husband. The first one is of Doug with our son Dakotas cub scout den at their go see it to the Fire Station (dakota was sooooo proud). The second one is of my husband standing up after putting out a HUGE fire (luckily it was a training day so they were training the newbies so they set the fire on purpose in a donated house that needed to be leveled anyways). This next one is one of my favorite it is Dakota sitting on the front of his daddys fire truck looking at his helmet ( can we say future fire fighter?) This next one is of the house they were training in as it was starting to burn and my husband walking in front of it. The last one is of my husbands fire gear. The helmet is brned and melted but he won't retire it and get a new one ( it's a matter of pride LOL). Well I hope you enjoy getting to know my husband a man who I love dearly and is so important to me.

My brain is this big
Hey there everyone!!! I wanted to let you all know I am having trouble getting my comments to work on your alls pages so I am not being snotty I just have to work on it to figure it out LOL. Thanks mom for the welcome. As far as the not so flattering stories......... lol I will be nice to you today due to the nice comments you made about me but beware I have TONS of stories to tell so just remember that. LOL remember Wendy's? Enough said huh? LOL and thanks to all of my moms friends on here welcoming me and following me i will follow u 2.
Well today I wanted to tell you what my three year old said to me last night at a very weird moment. First off this is my three year old (i'm sure you will remember them from my moms bloggs). Well last night we were getting Austin ready to go to bed and I told him to go in and go potty and of course he wanted mommy to go with him so I did. I was sitting on the edge of the bathtub waiting for him to get done and as he is peeing he says "hey Mom!!! guess what" I said "what" and he makes two fists and puts them together and say out of the blue " my brain is this big" LOL I just laughed and sai "yes it is" so he pulled his pants up and went in to tell his Daddy the same thing. We asked him who taught you that and Austin in his normal nonchalant way he shrugged his shoulders and says "no one I'm just smart" jumped up gave us kisses and ran to his room and off to bed. LOL Doug and I just laughed in amazment at our wonderful "smart" boy. He must take after me LOL i mean really look at who my mom is hehehehe (had to throw that in there for Grandmas sake)lol. TTYL

This is Dakota (my 7 year old) shooting a dinosaur a a 3D bow shoot.
Hey there it has been a while since I have blogged I have been trying to figure this stuff out and my mom helped me this morning. Now i know what I am doing, sort of. Well in my last blog I told you that Dakota was in cub scouts and he had a Pine Wood Derby Districts to go to, well he too tenth out of 44 kids so he was REALLY proud of that. Ok now here is a little about what my family does for fun. We LOVE to do archery and for our Anniversary my husband gave me a new Hoyt Bow customized. Our Anniversary was yesterday but....he couldn't wait to give it to me so I got it about a month or so ago. I LOVE it and have such a good time shooting it. My husband and three out of the four boys shoot also and they are all really good. A few weekends ago we went to the Rinehart 100 which is a two day bow shoot with 50 3Dtargets each day to shoot. Well we went but both days it was pouring down rain and mud up to our ankles. Our boys were covered from head to to with mud and my husband and I were not far behind them in that department. ( i will post pictures of that day another time I have to get them from a friend lol). Well we were going to the shoot on the second day and we stopped at Walmart to get rain gear so we could try to stay dry and my husband opened the back of the truck to get everyone dressed and then we got in the truck and drove away. Well can you guess what happened next? Yep the tailgate was left open and my step son Cody's bow fell out of the back and before we knew about it some gy drove up next to us and told us that the case fell out and the guy who was behind us stopped, grabbed the bow case and took off in the other direction. So poor Cody had to share his brothers Bow all day ( he actually shot better with it) and now we have to get him a new bow. Ugh we told the bows we would get them their first bow but after that it was up to them if they wanted a new one but since Doug (my husband) is the one that left the tailgate open he feels like he needs to replace it which is understandable. We turned in the info to the cops but nothing yet and we don't have high hopes. Well that is a little about my Family and archery now here are a few photos of us doing archery.
